About our participants:
Alison Marie Young is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. With more than a decade of financial services background and twenty years in business, she provides holistic wealth management services for high-net-worth individuals, wealthy families, business owners and entrepreneurs. Over the course of Alison’s career, she has acquired an integrated perspective through her work in various cities across the U.S. focused on the financial, consulting, government, energy and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she spent five years as an Investment Advisor with Bernstein Private Wealth Management. Previously, Alison entered the financial industry with J.P. Morgan Asset Management as a Relationship Manager in the Private Bank. Her well-diversified capability set includes tax and estate planning, concentrated stock positions, business succession, private equity and family governance strategies.
Alison attended Huntington College, where she earned a B.A. in Communications, History and Political Science. She received an M.B.A. with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University. She sits on the Rice University Alumni Board.To give back, Alison lends her time and support to many organizations that focus on the empowerment of women and children.
Laura C. Greaser is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch. With over 18 years of investment experience, and as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Laura develops customized wealth management plans tailored to the individual needs of high net worth individuals and families. More specifically, she helps clients develop individualized strategies around portfolio management, credit & lending, banking & liquidity management, retirement income strategies, as well as trust & estate planning. In addition to working with individuals and families, as a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), Laura provides advisory services to small and mid-sized business organizations, which includes pension funds, 401k plans, as well as endowments. She is firmly committed to providing families and businesses sound financial advice by carefully listening to each client’s individual goals, values, aspirations, and concerns.
Laura attended college at Baylor University where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Finance. She is a native Houstonian, and has been married to her husband Mike, a local orthopedic surgeon, since 2009, and they live in West University with their daughter, Madeline, and sons Elliott and Noah. She is very involved in the community and actively volunteers in several organizations in Houston.
Diana Murakhovskaya is the Co-Founder and General Partner of The Artemis Fund, a venture fund that seeds bold female tech innovators modernizing wealth through fintech, e-commerce, and care-tech. She spent over a decade in tech investment banking M&A and commodities sales and trading on Wall Street. After building and launching the first women-only iPhone app for new friends and networking she became compelled to solve the difficulties women founders faced in fundraising. She went on to co-found the Monarq Incubator, the first national, funding focused incubator curated for gender diverse founding teams which she and her partner to the Female Founders Alliance. She is an active angel investor and member of the Houston entrepreneurial community with deep roots in her home town of NYC. She holds a B.E. in mechanical engineering from The Cooper Union and is originally from Ukraine.
